We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our rapidly growing Air Defense team in Irvine, CA. Familiarity with Tactical Data Links (TDL), Link 16, Linux OS, and a background in defense, naval, or aerospace environments is preferred.

What you'll do

Lead the capture and integration of requirements for complex system deployments.

Make trade-offs between capability, timelines, risk, cost, and other factors to deliver outcomes.
Utilize model-based systems engineering throughout program lifecycle management.
Develop and manage technical documentation including requirements construction and traceability.
Travel up to 75% to customer sites for deployment support and integration activities.

What we're looking for

4-6 years of hardware and software systems engineering experience.
Demonstrated use of model-based systems engineering throughout program lifecycle.
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Rust for analysis and simulation.
Expertise in statistics, AI/ML, requirements management, test evaluation, verification.
Familiarity with Tactical Data Links (TDL), Link 16, Linux OS.
Experience in defense, naval, or aerospace environments preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
