What you'll do

Define and maintain technical criteria to evaluate Autonomous Vehicle partners.

Improve Uber’s partner onboarding processes by identifying and implementing data-driven enhancements.
Serve as the primary technical liaison to external partners, managing high-stakes communications.

What we're looking for

7+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on complex hardware/software integrations.
Proven track record in the Autonomous Vehicle industry, specifically within safety-critical systems.
Experience with V&V methodologies and AV industry standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF/ISO 21448).
Proven experience performing Safety Risk Assessments or similar technical due diligence.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for managing high-stakes external relationships.
Demonstrated ability to navigate global regulatory landscapes and work with international teams.
Strong analytical skills to distill complex technical risks into business impact.
