What you'll do

Lead the UM squad technically end-to-end, setting direction and owning outcomes across full stack.
Actively write and contribute production-quality code daily in React or Angular.
Drive UI architecture and development for the UM application, focusing on accessibility and performance.
Design and integrate LLM-based solutions into UM workflows using ML concepts like prompt engineering.
Architect and manage complex microservice frameworks to ensure resilience and observability at scale.

What we're looking for

5+ years of full stack software engineering experience with depth in UI/front-end development (React or Angular required).
Proven hands-on experience writing and owning production code using modern languages like Python, Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
Extensive experience building APIs, microservices, and complex microservice architectures at scale.
2+ years of hands-on experience implementing large language models in production applications with knowledge of ML concepts.
Strong leadership skills in mentoring engineers and driving delivery on complex initiatives within a squad.
Experience leading technical direction, removing blockers, and owning outcomes across the full stack for software engineering projects.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field required.
