As a Staff Security Analyst on the Threat Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in reducing organizational risk by detecting and disrupting adversary activity targeting Robinhood and its customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities include proactively hunting for emerging threats, building scalable systems to translate intelligence into actionable defenses, and collaborating with industry partners to enhance threat detection capabilities. You will leverage OSINT tools, SQL, Python, and SIEM platforms to analyze data and automate workflows, while also engaging with various internal teams to prioritize threats based on business risk. This role requires 8-12 years of experience in threat intelligence or related fields, deep knowledge of criminal ecosystems, and strong communication skills to translate technical insights into clear business risks.
Proactively hunt and map criminal ecosystems targeting Robinhood and its customers.
Build and operationalize a comprehensive “Universe of Threats” across various attack vectors.
Establish partnerships with industry peers and federal authorities to enhance threat intelligence capabilities.
Investigate attacker infrastructure and convert findings into concrete detections and customer protections.
Coordinate threat actor infrastructure takedowns with hosting providers and other partners.
What we're looking for
8-12 years of experience in threat intelligence, brand protection, or cyber investigations.
Proven ability to track and analyze criminal ecosystems related to phishing, scams, impersonation, fraud, and infrastructure abuse.
Deep knowledge of domain registration patterns, DNS analysis, certificate transparency logs, and cloud provider abuse.
Hands-on experience using OSINT tools, SQL, Python, SIEM platforms, and case management systems for threat intelligence.
Strong communication skills to translate technical threats into business risk for both technical teams and executives.
Experience mentoring others or leading initiatives with a high level of accountability in ambiguous situations.
