What you'll do

  • Conduct benchmarking to understand subsystem requirements and translate them into CTRS.
  • Maintain and refresh BOM strategies for Aggregator/Extender components, ensuring cost and quality imperatives are met.
  • Bridge global requirements with component-specific needs for Aggregator/Extenders.
  • Approve or support BOM picks that meet program imperatives and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting activities to resolve PRTS issues.
  • Support supplier development and qualification processes for Aggregator components.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 10+ years experience in automotive vehicle electrical systems using microprocessor-based controllers.
  • In-depth knowledge of serial data communications, requirements engineering processes (FMEA, PHA), and verification/validation processes.
  • Expertise in embedded software development, testing tools, hardware design, and failure modes.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical/electrical mechanisms, design development, test engineering, manufacturing, assembly operations, and procedures.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills within Electrical and other SMTs.
  • High-level analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
