We are seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join our Data Science Center of Excellence for Customer Data and Identity, where you will architect and develop advanced Machine Learning models and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance customer intelligence and segmentation at Walmart. Your responsibilities include building generative AI applications, developing multi-agent workflows, and creating custom machine learning algorithms that scale to large datasets. You will also lead data gathering efforts, validate data integrity, and synthesize analytics datasets for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of hands-on experience in deploying ML solutions, expertise with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, proficiency in Java and Python, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.

What we're looking for
5-7 years of experience as a hands-on data scientist deploying machine learning solutions.
Expertise in building and training various ML models including logistic regression, SVMs, random forests, gradient boosting, and deep neural networks.
Proficiency in large language model (LLM) development and deployment for generative AI applications.
Strong familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure for production-grade deployments.
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch for developing advanced models.
