As a Staff Data Engineer on the Auth0 Data Engineering Pipeline team, you will serve as a technical leader for strategic platform initiatives, focusing on making our data platform FEDRamp compliant. Key responsibilities include designing large-scale enhancements, creating architectural artifacts like threat models and technical specifications, and mentoring team members through code reviews and best practices. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on data engineering, extensive cloud infrastructure expertise (AWS preferred), proficiency in Python and SQL, and deep knowledge of modern data stack tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow. Experience with FEDRamp compliance, Terraform, Kubernetes, and government cloud environments is highly desirable.

Extensive experience architecting and deploying cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS preferred).
Deep knowledge of modern data stack including Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with a focus on high code quality and system design.
Excellent communication skills for complex technical topics and decision-making.
Direct experience with security compliance frameworks like FEDRamp, SOC2, or HIPAA.
