As a Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff in AT&T’s Network Chief Technology Office, you will lead the design and deployment of automation using modern DevOps practices to support our core 5G network at scale. Your daily tasks include building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and OpenShift; designing APIs for self-service operations; implementing Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep, Kubernetes, and OpenShift; embedding observability into automation; codifying runbooks into reusable tools; and championing best practices in version control, testing, and security. You will work closely with platform engineering, security, and operations teams to reduce operational toil and improve mean time to resolution (MTTR). The role requires expertise in Python, PowerShell, Bash on Linux, Azure Cloud or OpenShift, Git, RBAC, policy enforcement, and Azure Key Vault for secrets management. This position is pivotal in driving the evolution of hybrid cloud technology within a large-scale telecommunications environment.
