Join our Starlink program as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain distributed systems across multiple data centers. Your daily tasks include upgrading existing infrastructure for geo-redundancy, advancing deployment and monitoring tools, managing petabyte-scale compute clusters, and addressing performance bottlenecks. You’ll work closely with engineers to ensure services are highly operable, scalable, and maintainable throughout their lifecycle. Ideal candidates have a strong background in Linux, Kubernetes, Istio, Apache Kafka, Spark, HBase, HDFS, Flink, and experience with Python, C#, Java, Scala, or Go. This role requires an active Top Secret clearance due to the sensitive nature of our work on cutting-edge aerospace technology at scale.

  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle from inception to operation.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability or DevOps
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a scientific discipline
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Istio for on-premise deployment
  • Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, Scala, Go, or similar languages
  • Active Top Secret clearance required
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and network-layer issues
  • Expertise in Linux operating systems
