We are seeking a Senior SDET to join our dynamic team of software engineers focused on delivering high-quality products through rigorous testing practices. This role involves collaborating closely with product teams to define testing requirements for new features, conducting exploratory and automated E2E regression tests, and developing performance test tooling using JMeter and custom data generation frameworks. The Sr SDET will also enhance functional and non-functional testing protocols, advocate for quality standards, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across the organization. Ideal candidates have 4-8 years of experience in software testing with a strong background in Java development, expertise in cloud-based microservices, and knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker. Familiarity with financial services industry practices is beneficial, as is proficiency in tools like JUnit, TestNG, REST-Assured, and Postman.
Design and develop automated test frameworks in Java using recognized design patterns.
Perform exploratory testing to validate production readiness of new features across environments.
Create performance test tooling using JMeter to ensure system scalability under load.
Collaborate with development teams to enhance functional and non-functional testing practices.
Drive quality by ensuring high test coverage and effective reporting for end-to-end business flows.
What we're looking for
4-8 years of experience in software testing including both manual and automated practices.
Strong Java development background with demonstrated ability to write modular code using design patterns.
Experience building testing infrastructure for cloud-based microservices and knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, REST/gRPC API automation.
Proficiency in developing test plans, generating test reports, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Significant experience with performance and load test tooling using JMeter or similar frameworks.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
