A Senior Network Automation Engineer at Global Payments Inc. will bridge traditional network engineering with software-defined networking (ACI) and software development to automate network configuration and management tasks. This role involves designing Infrastructure as Code frameworks for provisioning and configuring network devices, building CI/CD pipelines for rigorous testing before production deployment, standardizing multi-vendor environments using automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, developing monitoring solutions with Prometheus or Grafana, and integrating network workflows with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow and GitLab. The ideal candidate has expertise in TCP/IP, Cisco ACI, routing protocols, layer 2 switching, security, RESTful APIs, JSON/YAML data formats, and version control using Git, along with a passion for working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Design and implement IaC frameworks to automate network device provisioning and configuration.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rigorous testing of network code before deployment.
Define and enforce network standards across multi-vendor environments using automation tools.
Develop automated telemetry solutions to proactively identify and remediate network issues.
Integrate network automation workflows with enterprise systems like ServiceNow and GitLab.
What we're looking for
Proficiency in Terraform or Ansible with experience in Cisco ACI automation.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code frameworks.
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security.
Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, YAML, and version control systems like Git.
Ability to define and enforce multi-vendor network standards using automation tools.
Experience integrating network automation with enterprise systems like ServiceNow.
