As a Senior Engineering Manager on Betterment’s SRE team, you will lead the Developer Experience squad in empowering engineers across the company by developing and maintaining robust development tools, streamlined workflows, and efficient feedback loops. Your day-to-day involves overseeing the creation of semantically rich abstractions for every stage of the development process, integrating AI capabilities into developer workflows, and mentoring a talented team of senior engineers. You will collaborate closely with product teams to deliver scalable infrastructure and tooling that enhances productivity while ensuring system stability. The ideal candidate has expertise in software development toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and hands-on experience managing and inspiring engineering teams.
