The position requires expertise in spacecraft standards for qualification testing, experience in US government space missions, and strong technical leadership skills to guide a multi-disciplinary engineering team through all stages of program execution from proposal to delivery.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical expertise across multiple spacecraft subsystems and ground systems.
  • Lead complex integrated systems for on-orbit operations and demonstrations.
  • Develop a technical strategy and roadmap leveraging current and new technologies.
  • Ensure efficient development and delivery of hardware and software solutions.
  • Perform mission and system level trade studies to balance risk, cost, and performance.

What we're looking for

  • Active U.S. clearance required.
  • Prior experience supporting DoD or IC customers.
  • Experience in architecting and delivering defense/IC satellite systems.
  • Understanding of high dV spacecraft and dynamic space operations.
  • Ability to decompose complex systems into executable requirements and deliverables.
  • Experience with spacecraft qualification testing standards (GEVS, SMC-S-016).
  • Strong technical communication skills for briefings to leadership and customers.
