Solar Performance Analyst

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain operational metrics and KPIs for solar asset performance.
• Clean and validate raw operational datasets to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Transform time-series data into scalable formats for advanced analytics workflows.
• Design and develop reports and dashboards to communicate plant performance insights.
• Identify system underperformance issues and develop analytical tools to resolve them.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to quantify impacts of equipment outages and weather variability.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2+ years experience with operational or renewable energy asset data in analytics roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and performance modeling using large datasets.
• Experience designing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar platforms.
• Ability to clean, validate, and transform raw SCADA and telemetry data into structured datasets.
• Familiarity with utility-scale solar photovoltaic system operations and key performance metrics.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing large-scale time-series and relational data sources.
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System tools for real-time monitoring and performance tracking.
