As a Senior Software Test Automation and QA Developer on our agile team, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality software that supports critical national security missions. Your day-to-day responsibilities include building test automation frameworks, implementing secure software solutions, and mentoring teammates to enhance DevOps practices using modern tools like GitLab, ReST, FastAPI, Python, Java, and VS Code. You’ll work on automating testing processes, configuring tools for secure QA, and supporting the modernization of legacy workflows with AI-driven recommendations. This role requires a strong background in software development and testing, including experience with Docker, multiple frameworks such as Git and Pydantic, and version control approaches. Ideal candidates will also have experience leading small teams, working within the Atlassian Suite, and applying modular design principles to create robust middleware and microservices solutions.

What we're looking for
4+ years of experience developing software in Python and Linux.
3+ years of experience with automated testing and multiple testing frameworks.
Experience with Java, JSON, Docker/Podman, Git, Pydantic, FastAPI, ReST.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering field plus relevant work experience.
Ability to implement version control approaches in software pipelines.
Experience supporting modernization and redesign of legacy workflows using AI.
