Role Details
In this role, you will drive the development of Siri’s Execution and Agentic platform that powers all Siri requests across all Apple devices. You will partner with many organizations in- and outside of Siri to gather requirements and lead the teams through evolving the platform to support the ever increasing complexity of Siri capabilities. Working across the entire Siri and Tools organization to enable next generation features while ensuring that the platform stays focused and extensible Employee development and mentorship Successful managers at Apple balance both technical execution and the long-term vision for their team They collaborate effectively with partner and product teams to define goals, set expectations, and shape roadmaps As a leader, you will provide both technical and career mentorship, empowering your team to succeed Strong interpersonal skills are essential for communicating technical complexities clearly to engineering partners, product management teams, and executives across Apple 10+ years of engineering management experience, involving mentoring of individual contributors (ICs) both as engineers, but as possible future leaders Experience building on-device (handset or others) infrastructure Comfort with ambiguity in projects and evolving requirements Proven track record of developing a product vision, achieving cross-functional alignment and executing on it Ability to empathize with client teams and to appreciate their needs Proven ability to translate requirements from design to implementation, both independently and within larger teams Demonstrated ability to actively manage team performance and take ownership of driving outcomes Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science or a related field Experience with Swift and its capabilities
