What we're looking for
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 1-2 years in a management role
- Expertise in Java and service-oriented architectures for production systems
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra) with data modeling skills
- Experience shipping and operating RESTful services at scale, understanding eventual consistency
- Ability to make decisions under uncertainty and communicate reasoning effectively
- Strong technical background to review code, contribute directly when needed
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field; MS preferred but not required
