As a Software Engineer on Apple’s Trust & Safety Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-volume, low-latency risking systems to protect Apple services and customers from fraud and abuse. You will work extensively with technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra, and other big data tools, requiring a strong background in Java/Scala, distributed systems, and experience with both relational and non-relational databases. This role demands expertise in building and operating highly available systems while also having an interest in machine learning and the internal workings of large-scale services.

What you'll do

Design and implement high-volume, low-latency risking systems for fraud protection.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience with Java/Scala and large-scale enterprise applications.
Proficiency in relational and non-relational database systems.
Expertise in designing and operating distributed, scalable, highly available systems.
Strong communication skills for requirements analysis and design articulation.
