Software Engineer - SRE

What you'll do

• Develop tools and software to automate operational processes and improve system reliability.
• Lead and implement monitoring frameworks to enable proactive detection and resolution of incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and mitigate production incidents.
• Work with developers to ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of database services.
• Manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to effectively manage reliability expectations for services.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses of incidents and collaborate on post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and at least one other database technology (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience automating manual processes and managing configuration systems.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, distributed systems, databases, and storage architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, Azure ARM templates.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both engineering and business stakeholders.
