What you'll do

Analyze simulated subsystems to identify gaps between real-world data and system-level behavior.
Integrate higher-fidelity models from functional engineering teams into the simulation framework.
Engineer efficient solutions within the simulation framework addressing performance and numerical stability issues.
Build validation tooling for automated comparison against real-world data and regression detection.
Design and run Monte Carlo campaigns to verify fidelity improvements across various conditions.
Identify opportunities to improve simulation strategy using industry-standard or academic approaches.

What we're looking for

At least 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with systems and analysis languages.
Experience in performance analysis and optimization of complex software systems.
Comfort with numerical computing concepts, including integration methods and statistical analysis.
Proven ability to take deep ownership of a system from design through validation.
Track record of building or maintaining automated test/validation infrastructure.
Ability to work effectively across team boundaries, integrating with domain experts.
Secret security clearance required.
