SAP Development Global Support team is responsible for the upkeep of multiple ABAP, HANA, Java, SAP Portal, UI, iOS applications. Job responsibilities includes, monitoring support quality, ensuring process adherence, identifying technical improvement areas for teams and/or individuals for effective support, identifying automation opportunities and implementing such efforts. As this position is in the ABAP Production Support Team, the developer is expected to be on call during their On-call assigned time and attend to production issues timely. This position will also interact with SAP Support Functional, BASIS, and Security teams on a regular cadence. Responsibilities also include but not limited to issue management, proactive system monitoring, upgrades and minor enhancements. Most of these services are delivered 24 x 7 by a globally distributed team located at various locations across the globe. We're thrilled to be looking for a dedicated and highly driven ABAP developer to join our dynamic team! 2 years professional experience in SAP Application Development and Support and external non-SAP Services 2 years professional experience in developing custom application in ABAP and troubleshooting/customizing SAP delivered standard applications and experience with IDOCs, BAPI, RFCs and Web services 2 years professional experience with Application programming on S/4HANA including RAP, OData, CDS Views, SAP FIOR 2 years professional hands on development experience in Eclipse Too Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent years of work experience. Hands on experience in Performance Tuning for ABAP and CDS, HANA applications Ability to collaborate closely with Functional Consultants to drive issues to closure Must be flexible to participate in rotational on-call support schedule and to respond to production issues immediately Knowledge of SAP technologies/frameworks such as SAPUI5 and SAP BTP Services is a plus Experience in Production Support projects Knowledge of SAP SqlScript for HANA Hands on experience with API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI . Knowledge of debugging web application using browser dev tools like chrome DevTools.
