TL;DR · Software Engineer, Radar Control & Signal Processing

Join the Training & Simulation Group as a mid-level software engineer, where you will design and implement high-performance C++/CUDA architectures for real-time radar antenna simulators on NVIDIA GPU clusters. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing simulation algorithms, signal processing pipelines, and device drivers while maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/GitHub Actions or Jenkins to ensure rapid delivery of mission-critical software. You will collaborate closely with systems engineers and test personnel to integrate new capabilities and validate performance in the lab environment. The role requires strong experience in C++ development for performance-critical applications, proficiency in CUDA programming, and familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. This position supports key defense programs such as LRDR and ASEV, offering a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

  • Define and evolve C++/CUDA architecture for real-time radar antenna simulation on NVIDIA GPUs.
  • Implement high-performance simulation algorithms and signal processing pipelines with strict latency requirements.
  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Integrate new capabilities into the lab environment and troubleshoot issues with system engineers.
  • Validate performance of radar simulation software in integration and test labs.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in C++ development for performance-critical systems.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and software design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
