As a Software Engineer III on the Walmart Promise and Sourcing Engine team, you will design and develop complex software features that accurately calculate delivery dates for multiple tenants across all front-end pages of the Walmart site. Your daily tasks include creating sourcing solutions to adhere to promised dates, optimizing shipment costs, setting up monitoring systems, debugging performance issues, maintaining automated test suites, and leading feature development projects from start to finish. You will work with technologies such as Python, Java, MySQL, Cassandra, Cosmos, Eclipse, IntelliJ, GitHub, and Kafka, while adhering to Scrum methodology. This role involves scaling existing features to meet rising customer demand and providing operational support during special sale events.

What you'll do

What we're looking for
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.

Expertise in GitHub for code version control and collaboration.
