Description

AI & Data Platforms (AiDP) is IS&T's engine for AI-powered innovation. The team brings together data, application development, and machine learning — including generative AI — along with data services and customer success functions, to help IS&T build solutions more efficiently and streamline the adoption and embedding of generative AI across Apple.
In the GBI Finance team, we build the Reporting and Analytical solutions to meet business need for Legal, Management and Statutory Reporting. We use native SAP HANA to build these Financial reporting data models.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a seasoned software engineer to join our team and work in this exciting space where we would be leveraging SAP systems (ECC and RAR) to source the base data from and build ground up native HANA model to report on.
• You will work as part of our HANA engineering team to build these financial models to report in a near real time at scale.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence space.
• Strong hands-on experience in Data warehouse development in SAP HANA.
• Experience in developing reporting and analytical solutions based on SAP data using HANA.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Shell scripting with a demonstrated ability to migrate mission-critical applications to cloud environments.
• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience in Data Modeling, SQL performance tuning, and reporting, preferably using SAP HANA.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
