As a senior engineer on the OpenShell team at NVIDIA, you will own and evolve the CI/CD system for a sophisticated platform that provides secure, sandboxed runtimes for autonomous AI agents. Your daily tasks include building multi-architecture release pipelines, improving release reliability, driving reproducible builds, and debugging complex build failures across various environments. You will work with technologies such as GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rust, Python, and BuildKit to ensure the system is reliable from source code to shipped artifact. The role requires deep experience in CI systems, Linux shell scripting, and supply-chain hardening practices, making you a key player in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of AI agent deployments at scale.
Own and evolve CI/CD system across various platforms and runners.
Build multi-architecture release pipelines for diverse artifacts and package types.
Improve reliability of rolling dev builds and tagged public releases.
Drive reproducible and performant builds using specified tools and ecosystems.
Debug complex build and release failures in multiple environments.
Enhance observability, diagnostics, and developer experience in CI/CD workflows.
What we're looking for
Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with strong ownership in build, release, CI/CD, or systems tooling.
Deep expertise in GitHub Actions or similar CI systems including reusable workflows and self-hosted runners.
Strong Linux systems and shell scripting skills for debugging complex build failures.
Experience shipping multi-platform artifacts like container images, Linux packages, and macOS binaries.
Working knowledge of Rust and Python build ecosystems including Cargo, cross-compilation, and dependency management.
