As a Software Development Engineering Advisor, you will join a dynamic financial technology team to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure software applications using Java, Play Framework, and microservices architecture. Your daily tasks include collaborating with business analysts and product managers to gather requirements, developing high-quality code following best practices, integrating systems, managing large datasets on AWS, conducting unit testing, participating in peer reviews, and supporting continuous integration and deployment. You will also troubleshoot payment processing issues, document designs using JIRA and Confluence, and support clients in the technical integration of merchant systems with our credit card platform. The role requires expertise in Java, Scala, RESTful APIs, SOAP protocols, AWS services like S3 and Step Functions, and development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA and Git.
