As a Senior Software Configuration Analyst in the SPACE business unit, you will join a dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining software configuration management tools to support both internally developed and COTS products. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing software configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery while ensuring compliance with customer expectations and audits. You will analyze proposed changes, document new product operating parameters, and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing to streamline release management processes. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, Git, and Windchill is essential, along with strong communication skills and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in documentation and verification. This role requires an active Secret Clearance with the potential for Top-Secret clearance, making it crucial for handling sensitive information securely.
Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS products.
Support development and production contracts to meet customer expectations and pass audits.
Analyze hardware and software changes to determine their impact on the overall product and system.
Perform tasks related to configuration management and release engineering to ensure new software products are documented and comply with standard configurations.
Maintain Software Configuration Management System by processing problem reports, change requests, and documenting software builds for operational environments.
Establish and manage change orders, coordinating changes with various departments to ensure compliance with policies.
What we're looking for
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Git)
Experience in coordinating release management functions across teams
Knowledge of software configuration management processes and policies
Strong written and oral communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance; US Citizenship required
Familiarity with Windchill/EPDM and handling documentation standards
Maintain databases and track delivery products through completion
