As a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) SLT Product Development Engineer in AMD’s growing Product and Test Engineering team, you will lead the development of system-level test solutions to meet critical business milestones for next-generation microprocessors used in automotive, robotics, high-end networking, storage, industrial, aerospace, and defense applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with diagnostics, quality, reliability, BIOS, software, and platform teams to optimize test coverage, reduce test time, improve yield, and enhance product quality. You will work on internal SLT platforms, debug infrastructure issues, and leverage data to drive improvements in platform software or upstream ATE test coverage. Proficiency in Windows, Unix, Linux, scripting languages like C++, Java, Python, and version control tools such as Git is essential, along with a strong background in system-level testing and x86 architecture.

What you'll do

  • Develop and optimize SLT test solutions to meet production business milestones.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to determine System Level Test coverage and requirements.
  • Validate new product features, conditions, methodologies, and contents in early phases.
  • Conduct silicon characterization across various process, voltage, and temperature conditions.
  • Drive KPIs such as test time reduction, yield improvement, and quality enhancement.
