Slate Manager – Enrollment Management

This position reports to the Associate Director of Enrollment Systems - Application Support, and is responsible for supporting the strategic configuration, implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the Slate CRM platform in support of enrollment management operations.
The primary function of the Enrollment Systems Department is to advance the university’s mission by integrating deep expertise in business processes and policies with a comprehensive understanding of institutional information technology capabilities and systems to design solutions that enhance operational efficiency, organizational effectiveness, student success, and the student experience.
This role partners with colleagues within Enrollment Management and Computing Services, along with other institutional stakeholders, to ensure the Slate platform effectively supports recruitment, application processing, communications, reporting, and student success initiatives.
Leverage a strong understanding of Enrollment Management policies, regulations, objectives, and business processes, along with institutional technical capabilities, infrastructure, integrations, data, and technology landscape, to support the following responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Slate CRM modules including applications, portals, communications, events, decisioning, and reporting.
- Design, build, and maintain data structures, forms, queries, rules, workflows, and automated communications.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Slate solutions aligned with platform best practices.
- Configure and maintain integrations between Slate and institutional systems (e.g., SIS, ERP, financial systems, marketing platforms).
- Collaborate with functional stakeholders to analyze existing workflows and recommend system-driven process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance the user experience through automation and process optimization.
- Ensure data integrity, validation rules, and compliance standards are consistently maintained.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and queries to support strategic decision-making and operational planning.
- Support enrollment forecasting, campaign tracking, and performance analytics.
- Provide functional and technical support to Slate users.
- Develop training materials and deliver workshops to promote effective system adoption and usage.
- Establish and maintain governance standards, documentation, and best practices for system configuration and use.
- Ensure adherence to FERPA and institutional data governance and security policies.
- Maintain appropriate user roles, permissions, and security configurations.

You should demonstrate:
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- Experience configuring and supporting Technolutions Slate CRM.
- Strong understanding of enrollment management processes.
- Experience with SQL, data querying, and reporting tools.
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
