Senior Technical Publications Manager

What you'll do

• Manage and organize tasks for technical writers to meet documentation standards and deadlines.
• Ensure stakeholders are engaged at the right time to support project delivery requirements.
• Facilitate the transition to scalable infrastructure and tooling for creating and maintaining documentation.
• Define requirements, assign testing tasks, and develop training to scale technical writing functions across teams.
• Cultivate a culture of technical documentation by creating processes and training for content contribution.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in generating technical documentation.
• Proficient in using various content authoring tools, including specialized software like RapidAuthor and Arbortext.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and tight deadlines independently.
• Eligible for Secret or higher security clearance (US).
• Experience leading teams on fast-paced, complex projects involving multiple stakeholders preferred.
• Knowledge of Aerospace and Defense technical documentation standards such as S1000D and MIL-STDs beneficial.
