TL;DR · Senior Systems Engineer – Vehicle Displays

As a Senior Systems Engineer on the Systems Engineering team, you will focus on vehicle display systems, specifically Head-Up Display (HUD) and Display Articulation features. Your role involves translating product intent into robust system solutions using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), leading the definition, decomposition, and integration of these features across various components like software, electronics, optics, and mechanics. You will collaborate closely with design, validation, UX, and platform engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of display features into vehicle programs. Key responsibilities include developing system blueprints, managing MBSE artifacts, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting virtual validation environments. The ideal candidate has expertise in systems architecture, MBSE, and requirements development, along with a strong background in automotive electronics and interfaces like LVDS, Ethernet, CAN, and LIN.

What you'll do

  • Own system-level architecture, design, and integration for HUD and Display Articulation features.
  • Decompose product requirements into testable software, electrical, optical, and mechanical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain MBSE artifacts including functional models and interface definitions.
  • Define co-simulation and virtual validation environments with acceptance criteria for display features.
  • Support integration, calibration, validation, and issue resolution for HUD and display articulation systems.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or software-intensive automotive development.
  • Expertise in systems architecture, MBSE, requirements development, integration, and validation.
  • Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Rhapsody and DOORS/DOORS Next.
  • Strong background in model-based development and virtual simulation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines and influence stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of vehicle display systems including HUD fundamentals and articulation features.
