We are seeking a senior platform architect to join our team responsible for designing and building the next-generation multi-tenant middleware platform that integrates multiple Customer Information Systems (CIS), z/OS mainframe systems, and cloud applications. The ideal candidate has 10-15 years of experience in building enterprise-grade middleware platforms, integrating with z/OS mainframe systems at utility scale, and extensive knowledge of Spring Boot 3.X, Java 21+, Kubernetes, Azure, and observability tools like Splunk and Prometheus. Deep domain expertise in utility, telecom, or financial services industries is required, along with a proven track record in multi-tenant architecture patterns and REST API design for partner-facing platforms.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement multi-tenant middleware platform with tenant-level routing and security isolation.
  • Lead large-scale customer data migrations across CIS/billing systems involving millions of accounts.
  • Build production-grade integration clients for z/OS mainframe systems using z/OS Connect, CICS transactions, MQ messaging.
  • Develop core middleware framework using Spring Boot 3.X+ and Java 21+, including OAuth2 security and Azure Key Vault integration.
  • Create CI/CD pipeline templates and blue/green deployment patterns for Kubernetes/OpenShift with high availability.

What we're looking for

  • 10-15 years of experience building enterprise-grade middleware platforms.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale customer data migrations (1M+ accounts).
  • 5+ years hands-on experience integrating with z/OS mainframe systems at utility scale.
  • Expertise in multi-tenant architecture patterns and REST API design for partner integrations.
  • Deep domain expertise across enterprise customer platforms including CIS, billing, payments, identity.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot 3.X ecosystem and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator or equivalent cloud platform certification.
