What you'll do

  • Solve scaling issues in critical services within the Logging, Metrics, Traces & Alerting pipeline.
  • Design and evolve APIs for use by other engineers to improve product team efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate architectural bottlenecks to enhance observability platform reliability.
  • Drive feature ideation, implementation, and adoption across the organization.
  • Respond to alerts and provide support during production issue troubleshooting.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience with highly distributed systems
  • Expertise in designing and implementing APIs for high-throughput data ingestion
  • Experience improving software reliability across availability, performance, latency, efficiency, capacity, SLOs, and incident management
  • Proficiency in Go or Java for developing and maintaining software
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of system design and its trade-offs
  • Track record of leading and delivering projects end-to-end
