Senior Software Engineer, Metropolis Vision AI

What you'll do

• Develop high-performance Vision AI pipelines for real-time video and image processing.
• Create large-scale distributed services to process multimedia data on edge and cloud platforms.
• Integrate multi-modal perception capabilities combining 2D, 3D, and temporal information.
• Use simulation tools to validate perception algorithms at scale in various environments.
• Optimize GPU-accelerated inference pipelines for latency, efficiency, and reliability.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years of professional software development experience using modern C++ and Python on Linux.
• Strong background in computer vision and deep learning with proven production system deployment.
• Expertise in building high-performance concurrent systems including multi-threading and efficient memory management.
• Proficiency in PyTorch for training, fine-tuning, and deploying models for vision tasks.
• Practical experience with GPU acceleration technologies like CUDA or TensorRT for inference optimization.
• Experience in simulation and synthetic data creation using tools such as Omniverse or Unreal Engine.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end computer vision applications in production environments.
