What you'll do

  • Contribute to end-to-end GPU Monitoring feature development within the Datadog Agent.
  • Build and maintain shared eBPF functionality for product teams using eBPF-based products.
  • Investigate and debug complex production issues involving kernel, eBPF programs, and agent runtime.
  • Research, prototype, develop, and document solutions for challenging problems in eBPF and GPU monitoring.
  • Provide technical guidance on product and architecture decisions within the eBPF platform.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience with Linux kernel development or eBPF technology.
  • Proven track record of building high-throughput, low-latency systems.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on application and tooling development in C or similar language.
  • Strong problem-solving skills focused on customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Expertise in investigating and resolving complex production issues involving kernel and eBPF programs.
  • Ability to contribute to open-source projects and document technical solutions effectively.
