As a Senior Software Engineer in Coinbase's Developer Infrastructure group, you will join a team responsible for building and maintaining the systems that every engineer at Coinbase relies on to develop and deploy code. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, building, and operating core developer infrastructure services such as CI/CD pipelines, deployment orchestration, and test frameworks, ensuring they are fast, reliable, and secure. You will drive improvements in key metrics like build time, deploy speed, and test reliability while owning your services end to end, including SLOs and observability. Additionally, you will partner with engineering teams across Coinbase to identify pain points and implement platform enhancements, mentor engineers, and shape the technical direction of the infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in building and operating production software, particularly in distributed systems using languages like Go, along with strong operational instincts and communication skills. Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and containers is beneficial, as well as a background in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
