As a Senior Software Engineer on the Blockchain Networks team within Coinbase’s Platform group, you will design and deliver critical infrastructure that integrates blockchain protocols with internal services for new assets, stablecoins, and staking. You must also have direct experience with blockchain protocols like Bitcoin and Ethereum, and the ability to decompose complex systems into well-bounded microservices.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience in production services
  • Proven expertise in designing and maintaining distributed systems for high-throughput workloads
  • Hands-on experience with Golang, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB or similar technologies
  • Direct experience with blockchain protocols such as Ethereum or Bitcoin
  • Ability to decompose complex systems into microservices with clear API contracts
