Senior Software Development Engineer, Agent Workflows, Firefly Boards

What you'll do

• Design and build workflows that drive Boards' agentic product.
• Implement agent behavior for production use, expanding capabilities as needed.
• Own safety, quality, and cost controls for long-running tasks in production.
• Ensure survivability of multi-step operations across interruptions and resumptions.
• Partner with senior staff to shape future directions of the agentic product.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of product engineering experience with significant ownership of production systems.
• Demonstrated recent depth in agentic systems, workflow runtimes, or comparable LLM-tool-using applications.
• Strong backend systems intuition for state management and long-running operations recovery.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Python with a track record of writing clean, testable code.
• Experience with workflow orchestration runtimes for tool-using LLM applications preferred.
• Familiarity with production LLM systems evaluation, observability, and latency optimization.
