As a senior engineer on the Adobe Experience Platform team, you will contribute to and own critical features in a micro-service architecture, working closely with architects, product management, and other stakeholders. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing highly efficient enterprise software, ensuring quality through rigorous validation processes, and staying informed about developments within the Adobe ecosystem. You will also architect scalable and reliable systems using best practices in system design while keeping an eye on emerging technologies to enhance cost efficiency without compromising product requirements or quality. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with at least 8 years of work on large-scale distributed systems, proficiency in Java or Scala, expertise in RESTful web services and data-intensive applications, and exposure to tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, AWS, Azure, and Databricks.

What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in large scale distributed systems or data processing.
Proficiency in Java and/or Scala, with expertise in RESTful web services.
Expertise in SQL DB, No-SQL DB, Web Services, Data Intensive applications.
Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, AWS, Azure, Microservice Architecture.
Strong ability to model solutions for distributed processing problems.
Commitment to coding best practices and scalable design principles.
