As a Senior Software Engineer on the Segmentation Service team, you will contribute to building and optimizing a high-performance query engine that evaluates complex customer segment definitions efficiently. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing algorithms for query compilation and optimization, monitoring performance, and debugging semantic errors. You will work closely with other engineers and product managers in an Agile environment using CI/CD pipelines, participating in architecture reviews and iterative development cycles. The ideal candidate has a strong background in computer science, with expertise in Java or Scala, knowledge of databases and compilers, and experience with query optimization techniques. Additionally, familiarity with distributed systems and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities are crucial for success in this role, which addresses significant scalability challenges within Adobe's Customer Experience Orchestration solutions.

What we're looking for
B.S. in Computer Science or related field required
