Senior Security Certification Expert - Adyen

What you'll do

• Lead the process of PCI Certifications for Adyen's Payments Solution, including DSS, PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS, MPoC, and SSF.
• Manage a comprehensive inventory of all PCI certifications across hardware devices, software applications, and solution-level certifications.
• Proactively plan by tracking expiry dates, re-evaluation windows, and delta certification triggers to ensure readiness for audit cycles.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with QSAs and external assessors, managing timelines and preparing assessment materials.
• Provide compliance-informed security guidance during vulnerability analysis and threat modeling sessions with engineering teams.
• Maintain all necessary security documentation required for assessments, ensuring audit readiness throughout the year.
• Represent Adyen at PCI SSC working groups and industry forums to contribute to the development of payment security standards.

What we're looking for

• Deep subject matter expertise in PCI frameworks and standards (DSS, PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS, MPoC, SSF).
• Proven track record of managing complex compliance pipelines with multiple certifications.
• Technical fluency to provide practical security guidance to hardware and software engineers.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex compliance concepts to various audiences.
• High autonomy in planning and executing certification processes without needing supervision.
• Experience as primary point of contact with QSAs and external assessors during audits.
• Ownership of all security documentation required for PCI assessments and certifications.
