Daily tasks include testing and validating data controls, analyzing data trends, and recommending best practices for enhancing data management processes. Ideal candidates have experience in data governance, analytics, or technology audit, along with skills in Python, SQL, AWS, and Agile methodologies. This role demands a forward-thinking approach to adapt to evolving technological landscapes while maintaining strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Test and validate data management controls, systems, and processes across Capital One.
Analyze data to identify risks and trends proactively within the organization.
Collaborate with EDM partners to assess data risk and communicate issues effectively.
Provide recommendations on enhancing data management practices and best practices.
Streamline and automate data management processes to improve efficiency.
What we're looking for
At least 1 year of experience in data governance or risk management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data management
Experience testing and validating data management controls and systems
Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate data risks effectively
Knowledge of data management processes, controls, and best practices
Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS and Agile development methodologies
Proficiency in Python or SQL for data analysis and validation
