What you'll do

  • Advise on global platform laws and regulations, focusing on the Digital Services Act and Online Safety Act.

  • Manage Requests for Information and coordinate responses during regulatory investigations.
  • Analyze legal requirements for new products and technologies to ensure compliance.
  • Develop global regulatory compliance strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct trainings on complex legal issues for engineers and other company teams.
  • Scale the legal organization by creating technology-first processes, including AI applications.

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience advising on online safety and digital regulation in Europe.
  • Deep understanding of European digital regulatory landscape, including platform regulation and privacy law.
  • Subject matter expertise in key European digital legislation like the Digital Services Act (DSA) and Online Safety Act.
  • Strong legal and business judgment with strategic thinking skills.
  • UK or EU legal qualification or equivalent foreign qualification required.
  • 8+ years of experience practicing law, preferably with in-house counseling on safety, privacy, and technology matters.
