As a Senior ML/AI Engineering Manager (M50) in the Experience ML/AI squad at GenAI Experiences, you will lead the strategic development and execution of an AI Assistant that transitions from reactive to proactive intelligence, enhancing real-time contextual understanding and predictive workflow capabilities across Adobe’s Experience Cloud. This role requires setting long-term objectives, managing six persistent ML workstreams, and ensuring cross-team collaboration while maintaining hands-on involvement in technical decision-making. Ideal candidates possess extensive experience in shipping production systems with high reliability, a background in relevant fields like Computer Science or AI, and expertise in modeling user behavior and workflows to drive proactive UX enhancements. Proficiency in on-device/edge ML constraints, knowledge graphs, and human-in-the-loop systems is beneficial, as is the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and technical teams alike.

What we're looking for
10+ years of engineering experience with strong technical depth in shipping production systems.
6+ years of engineering management experience, including leading senior engineers and managers.
Experience building ML systems modeling user behavior/workflows/data for proactive UX.
Ability to set direction and delegate across complex domains with high visibility scope.
Excellent communication skills for executive alignment on tradeoffs and investment.
Master’s degree or PhD in relevant technical fields a plus, particularly related to machine learning.
