Senior Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain algorithms for personalization and recommendation systems.
• Lead the research, development, and production of new recommendation features.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Editorial teams to manage expectations.
• Optimize operational processes and explore innovative machine learning techniques.
• Deploy scalable streaming and batch data pipelines for petabyte-scale datasets.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience developing machine learning models and large-scale data analysis
• In-depth understanding of modern machine learning methods including deep learning
• Experience deploying and maintaining big-data solutions using technologies like Databricks, S3, and Spark
• Ability to develop algorithms for deployment in production systems and maintain scalable code (Python, SQL)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining methodologies to technical and non-technical teams
