As a Java Developer joining our Cloud Engineering teams at Citi, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the company’s multi-cloud strategy by designing and deploying secure, scalable tools and services for approved cloud providers. Your day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with skilled engineers and business stakeholders to implement automation solutions that support enterprise-wide adoption of cloud infrastructure as code. You’ll develop integrated systems leveraging security and observability features within a Spring Reactive microservice architecture while maintaining robust development standards and documentation. This role requires extensive experience in cloud service automation, Java with Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and Linux, along with hands-on knowledge of GCP or AWS services. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to mentor team members within a large-scale corporate environment.

What you'll do
Design and develop tools and services to adopt Citi’s approved Cloud Providers securely.
Deliver automation solutions and frameworks for cloud adoption at scale.
Maintain infrastructure as code pipelines for business use cases across the enterprise.
Develop integrated cloud-native solutions leveraging security, observability, and data analytics.
Define and maintain development standards and best practices for the team.
Support features and bug fixes in a REST-based microservice architecture using Spring Reactive.
What we're looking for
Over 10 years of software development experience in Cloud Platform engineering.
Expertise in cloud service automation and hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot and Spring Reactive, and Linux.
Experience with Helm and preferred knowledge of GCP or AWS Cloud services.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, IAM, Security standards, and practices.
Ability to guide and mentor software engineers on the team.
