What you'll do

  • Design and operate Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for production, staging, and ephemeral environments.
  • Evolve AWS infrastructure to support scalable multi-team workloads using VPCs, subnets, IAM, and account structure.
  • Build and maintain GitOps workflows with Terraform, CDK, and ArgoCD for infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Define and drive SLOs, analyze incidents, and implement systemic fixes to improve platform reliability and performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to land high-impact infrastructure changes and establish platform standards.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience operating Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Proficient with AWS infrastructure including VPC design and IAM management.
  • Expertise in implementing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Experience with GitOps workflows, utilizing tools like ArgoCD for continuous delivery.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions and drive adoption of platform standards across teams.
  • Design and maintain high-reliability Kubernetes clusters and AWS environments.
