Senior Cyber Risk Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and apply statistical models to measure and manage cyber risk.
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security assessments.
• Create analytical tools and decision-support capabilities for cybersecurity.
• Evaluate organizational cybersecurity programs and risk management practices.
• Present complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in solving real-world cybersecurity challenges.
• Influence national cyber security strategies through applied research.

What we're looking for

• BS degree in a quantitative field with 10 years of experience or MS with 8 years.
• Expertise in cybersecurity risk management, statistics, econometrics, and data science.
• Experience in developing statistical models, predictive analytics, and simulation techniques.
• Ability to conduct threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security assessments.
• Strong analytical skills and capability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
• Leadership in multidisciplinary teams for solving real-world cybersecurity challenges.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced research environment with periodic travel requirements.
