As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer on Robinhood’s Cloud Security team, you will be responsible for protecting the company’s AWS cloud environment and providing foundational security capabilities to developers. Your day-to-day tasks include building and operating solutions that safeguard critical infrastructure while making it easier for engineers to secure their applications with a safety-first approach. You should have expertise in Golang or Python, proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, and deep knowledge of AWS security services such as IAM, SCPS, WAF, and Network Firewall. This role requires adherence to industry best practices like the AWS Well-Architected framework and CIS Benchmarks, ensuring that Robinhood maintains a robust cloud security posture at scale.
Build and operate security solutions for cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Protect Robinhood’s AWS environment by providing foundational security capabilities.
Implement least privilege access management using IAM, SCPS, and other AWS services.
Configure and set up systems with a safety-first approach to minimize risks.
Develop automation tools in Golang or Python to enhance security controls.
What we're looking for
Expert level knowledge of AWS security services including IAM, SCPs, WAF, and Network Firewall.
