What you'll do

  • Design and execute advanced forecasting models to provide probabilistic outcomes for risk management.
  • Develop experimental frameworks to identify key business drivers and assess their impact on financial metrics.
  • Create data-driven pricing and customer retention strategies in partnership with Sales teams.
  • Write production-quality Python code to deploy economic models into AWS and Snowflake ecosystems.
  • Serve as the internal expert, translating complex econometric findings into strategic recommendations for leadership.

What we're looking for

  • Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Economics or related quantitative field with econometrics focus.
  • 4+ years experience in applied research, finance, or data science, preferably in high-growth tech.
  • Expertise in Python and its data science ecosystem including pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying large-scale data warehouses like Snowflake.
  • Mastery of advanced econometric methods on real-world datasets.
  • Ability to function independently in undefined roles and set strategic roadmaps.
